Known as a beautiful island with the romantic lyrical sea described in many newspapers inside and outside the country, but Phu Quoc island district also has other scenic attractions which are equally interesting. They are mysterious streams looking like a jewel nestled in a pristine forest. Tranh Stream, Da Ban Stream, and Tien Stream are the three streams that are popular with tourists on Vietnam package Tours lately.

Tranh Stream

Tranh Stream is a branch that originates from Ham Ninh mountain range, located in the tourist area of the same name about 9 km south of Duong Dong town center. Visitors on Vietnam Small Group Tours should avoid coming to Tranh stream in the period from February to May because it is the rainy season. Except for the two months, this place will give you beautiful scenery like a charming painting.

The road to the Tranh stream is quite easy to go. You only go from the foot of the stream only about 300 meters of bumpy stone road, the two sides are grass and flowers, soft green vegetation in the fresh air of the primary forest. The picture is very harmonious with the small waterfalls, streams murmuring, the branches of the forest Orchid hidden in the green canopies.

The stream is so soft and gentle so do not ignore the stream bathing, soaking in the cool water, immerse the soul into the wilderness, listening to birds chirping and fluttering with butterflies around. Here you can also camp, fish, take a party and visit the cave… in the tourism area.

Da Ban Stream

Originated from a folktale that the fairies often sat on the rocks in this stream every time they came down to the earth, they sat on the large flat stones like tables, so people call it Da Ban Stream (Stone Table Stream).

Located in Cua Duong Commune, about 8km northeast of Duong Dong Town, the way leading to Da Ban Stream is fairly effortless. Visitors on Tours in Vietnam have to drive a motorbike on the trail, then park and walk in about 15 minutes. Da Ban spring is also derived from the Ham Ninh mountain range, which is the main source of water for Duong Dong lake, serving the life of Duong Dong town.

After a few steps of walking, you will immerse the rumbling water streams completely different from the gentle stream of Tranh. The large flat stones look strange and fancy created by the hands of Mother Nature, quite suitable for camping, dining with friends and family.

The cool water under the waterfall will be the ideal place for bathing. However, pay careful attention to the slippery moss, especially in the rainy season when the water is deep and very flows very strong. If possible, you should go upstream about 200 meters to see the beautiful scenery. Visitors can stay until sunset to watch the stream clattering the large rocks in the red color of the afternoon.

Tien Stream

Suoi Tien is about 1km long, originating from a canyon leading down to the bottom, forming a small waterfall and large lake with clear and cool water. Suoi Tien is located 7 km from Duong Dong town, heading to Suoi Da hamlet. The special feature of this stream is the immense primitive forest with rich fauna and flora. The trees create a cool space, the two sides of the stream are full of the rose myrtle trees so you will see ripen fruit from December to February next year.

The season of rose myrtle is also an ideal time to travel Tien stream, because of this heavy rainfall so the water springs flow strong and very cool. Your excursion will be perfect when you are immersed in the fresh flavor of grass, streams, and waterfalls.
